Woongooroo Estate is a family owned boutique vineyard and wine operation. The property has been in the family for around 30 years. Phil and Gail’s background is that of Primary School teaching before venturing into viticulture. As well as the established 5000 vine vineyard in South East Qld, a small olive grove has also been established with equal numbers of Manzanillo and Frantoio (Paragon) varieties. Grape plantings began in 1997 and nine vintages up to and including 2008. The red and white wines, sparklings and ports created from these vintages offer a fresh and exciting award-winning taste within the burgeoning Queensland wine industry. To date, our Estate has been awarded and recognised with one Gold Trophy, 6 Silver Medals and 26 Bronze Medals/Awards. |

Woongooroo Estate is situated on a 16.4 hectare (40 acre) property between Kilcoy and Woodford in Southeast Queensland, Australia – approximately one hour’s drive from Brisbane and 45 minutes from Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Woongooroo Estate offer offsite wine tastings between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. You can also contact Woongooroo Estate, and visit them at their next event. Woongooroo Estate present their fabulous Qld wine collection at many markets, festivals and events all over South East Qld.

Woongooroo Estate offers property tastings. The onsite cellardoor and cafe is open for wine tasting, meals, corporate events, parties and private gatherings. The usual Ploughman’s Lunch, cheese platters, gourmet grills/sandwiches, and the like, will be available through the Café when open throughout the week. Visit the Yourweekend website for more information about lunch and dinner menus. The Complex will be displaying certain attractions guaranteed to inform and entertain. Eg: Sporting Memorabilia, Model Trains etc. We come to you! Woongooroo Estate can come to your home, place of work or event venue to host a personalised, offsite wine tasting experience for private events, social gatherings or fundraising.
